Theo & Tanja’s wedding day

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” – Pablo Neruda – After an amazing E-shoot session at the Willem Prinsloo museum with these two people, their wedding day finally arrived. They chose the beautiful intimate wedding venue, Die Akker out on the N4 highway. The day was perfect from the dress, make-up and hair all the way to the decor and the grooms suite. We had a blast once again with the couple session and the sunset spoiled us with the most incredible light to photograph in. The evening ended off with the love of family and friends.

Tanja and Theo’s Eshoot was photographed at the Willem Prinsloo Museum. There were so many locations to choose from and we had so much great fun exploring all the options. These two people where meant for each other and they are a perfect example of how two people should fill each other. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to capture these moments.

Raymond & Janine’s Wedding day.

Raymond and Janine’s wedding finally arrived and what a beautiful and hot South African summer day it was. On our way to the venue we got lost slightly, but finally arrived at this beautiful charismatic little venue just outside Heidelberg called Lief is Lief. Have a look at the memories captured on their beautiful day.

Janine and Raymond’s Engagement shoot

Janine and Raymond are friends of ours and when she asked us to photograph their Engagement and Wedding photos our hearts swelled with pride. Posing, kissing and laughter came naturally to them and it created beautiful moments to photograph.

Christopher & Jillian’s Wedding

I had the privilege to photograph Jillian and Christopher’s wedding at the Rustic-vintage wedding venue ‘Die Akker’. They are two great people and one could see how happy they make each other! Have a look at their wedding photographs…

Photographing Industrial Architecture

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a few warehouses in an industrial park in Gauteng for a client of mine. This was the first time I’ve photographed industrial size buildings and at first it made me a bit nervous…. I visited the site prior to the shoot to familiarize myself with the structures, which way the buildings were facing and to see how far completed the structures were. My client advised me that 2 out of the 4 building were still being finished and there would be rubble laying around and that the signs still needed to be added to each individual building. Needless to say that most of the construction was finished on the sites, but there where rubble and construction machines in almost every angle that I wanted to photograph. We decided that early morning would work best for all of the buildings and that I would go there for 2 consecutive mornings to photograph. The weather almost seemed to know when we planned the shoots and gave me rain every morning after sunrise. At first I saw this as an obstacle that would make my work difficult, but realized on the first morning that I could use this to my advantage. I arrived on site about an hour before sunrise and explored a bit and decided that the building that had all of the rubble should be photographed at the start of twilight making it possible to hide most of it in darkness. The completed warehouses and offices I decided to photograph just before the sun broke the horizon and used some reflection in the rain water to showcase the offices. I photographed the last and biggest warehouse on the last morning with cloudy skies just before sunrise, giving some motion blur in the skies as the clouds past. On both mornings I realized that no matter what the weather there might be a 15 min window of beautiful light and weather which makes it all worth going.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

Your team was amazing and I would use you both for all my photos!!! You went over and above what was required. If I had to rate you and Stephen out of 10… you would both be 20 out of 10. And the photos were incredible!!!!

Ek sal Michelle enige tyd aanbeveel. Sy is Fantasties.
